The Bold and the Beautiful

I just got a call from the Casting Director of The Bold and the Beautiful.. They have a 2 episode thing for me, and She said she want's to use me repeatedly for the next 30 days, only problem is that it is an AFTRA gig, the television union, and that means I'm gonna have to join AFTRA within 30 days or I will never ever be able to join them again, which means, no TV jobs in the future.. So it should be a no brainer, only problem is that i don't have the $1300 it will cost me to join.. And I cant do any more non union work to make money.. why does it always have to be this complicated?
