MY HERO

This is my Grandpa. He is 92 years old and one of the funniest people I have ever met! I used to be so scared of him as a kid that i wanted to buy Christmas gifts for everybody except him, he used to pull my hair as a joke and I thought he was the meanest thing on earth.. Now i know better, He is the most kindhearted and generous person there is! And if there is just a little piece of him in me... Who ever ends up marrying me will be the luckiest guy on earth!
All jokes a side.. He really is my hero!

And he is handsome too.. look at this, third from the left bottom row! I am so lucky to have had him in my life, and I wish you all would have had a chance to sit down with him and listen to his stories about life! To me there is nothing better.

The Fires

Went hiking this morning, but it wasn't as fun, so much smoke in the air from the fires, and the smell of it.. Mandatory Evacuations since yesterday. Thank god there is no wind today! Off to have a coffee with Alia..

Moving, Vodka, Heat and Friends

What a day! Again!
Betsy had hired the best nicest cutest coolest movers ever! They had everything done so fast, And while we were watching them move Betsy's new gay neighbor Christoffer introduced us to his dog Blanche Dubois and his own Fruit infused Vodka! And Betsy's friend Allison where here all weekend helping with the packing, and with the two of them and the boys it was just the best moving day ever, and also the longest and the saddest.. and Hottest!


When I finally got to Hollywood and Chau's place I ran in to her neighbor who wants me to stay there from the 14th and feed her cat while she is on a cruise around Europe. Sure! Timing could not be better almost.. I was really really looking forward to crash Betsy's place.. but I guess I will have time to do that too!

And Betsy gave me the best gift I have ever gotten today, Not only is she putting a extra bed in for me to her already crowded apartment, and she has helped me so much with everything from printing things to to teaching me a southern accent at the most inconvenient time ,what she did was just , or gave me just really made me cry, and as i lean up on my bed calling her to thank her, I see something in the corner of my eye, and it is a giant cockroach. This thing is bigger then my cocker- spaniels.. so instead of really thanking her and letting her know how much I appreciate her, I'm screaming and yelling over this big bug!!!
And now it is in my bedroom.. I can't get it out!
How am I suppose to sleep now?

Auditions Auditions Auditions

I wish I had some fun things to report, But this Resident Evil audition has been dragging out.. Finally sent all scenes of to my Agent, Texas accent and all.. then she calls me and says its so good that she is gonna make sure I get this part and that she can see me in it with Milla.. ha ha, soooo..
I had to tape it all over again, against a bluescreen, with Jeremy behind the camera and with my hair out!
Only thing was that I was so over it, i had done nothing else for a week, and I finally thought I was done, and I was actually happy with what I had done!
But I was shit yesterday, did not to good at all, and I looked horrible and I had a really bad hair day and feeling fat day and all that girlie stuff.. and I really sucked, But I got it emailed to my agent before 4 pm, and she sent it in.. or I don't know if she sent the first taping in or this new stuff, and now I am really nervous! and I hope she sent the first round in, even though I don't think she did..

And now all I wanna do is get drunk and have a dance party..

but, I have 2 other auditions this weekend.. One for a Vampire short movie where i am suppose to have an BRITTISH ACCENT! I find that hilarious since I have spent the last week getting rid of mine.. and all that now comes out of my mouth is Texan...

And I am moving! By the way did I mention I am moving again? uh.

MOVING

Since 1999, I have moved 19 times. Since I moved to Los Angeles I have moved 13 times and I am moving again this weekend..
just had to count!

Might actually be done!

Wow, I am finally in bed! I wasn't able to email the scenes that me and Caroline shot yesterday so, I have spent the entire night re- recording them with Betsy, which have been really great cause she taught me the Texas accent that i needed, and we had some wine and a lot of fun with it!
But I have been so worried all day, cause I did email 2 scenes that I had to my agent this morning and I did not hear back from her all day so I was so convinced that she hated it! And what to I do if its so bad that she doesn't even want to send it in?
But.. then halfway into the filming with Betsy she wrote me:

"Can you put your hair down and sweep your bangs out of your eyes a little the next time you tape it. It was hard to see the beauty of your natural face. But otherwise, its GREAT!!!. You are extremely LIKEABLE. Remember its due tomorrow."

And then it was a wrap! I think we both were a little to tipsy and tired to go on, but I can sure say that the wine help with the accent!
We celebrated by going to the liquor store and buy chocolate and then we watched "He's just not that into you" me for the second time today ( I watched it this morning, and I had to make Betsy see it)
But it's so good! I really really liked it. Except for Scarlett Johansen, I dont get the thing with her, She is a crappy actress and she is not even pretty! But i surprised myself with actually liking Ben Afflek in it.. first time ever!

I'm gonna stop rambling and go to bed now

A Man

It is not often that i feel the need to have one, but since yesterday I have stumbled upon 2 situations where it actually would have been helpful and I wished that I had a man in the house..
1) Spider in my bed room! It was huge and looked like it could eat me alive.
2) technical support. I have no patience when it comes to computers or other electronic stuff.
Where do I find one?

Now that that's done all I have to do is pick Betsy up at the airport, the go home and view all the footage we shot and pick some good parts and email to my agent!

Carro is coming over today to help me film my Resident Evil 4 audition.. I'm so nervous! Hate having people that I know around when I'm working! I absolutely hate it! And the camera won't transfer the film via the usb cable of course so now I need one of those things to put the memory card in.. so typical! Why cant things just work when you need them too?

Resident Evil

I have a audition for Resident Evil 4.
And that's great, but I'm so nervous! Not about the audition itself but the casting people are in Canada or somewhere so I am gonna have to tape my audition which is.. uh I can do that.. but then I have to somehow get that film into a format that I can email. That makes me nervous. And it all has to be done by Sunday 6pm. And someone that I know is gonna have to watch me doing this! I hate that, can not think of anything worse! So..
I need someone that I am comfortable with to film and read lines to me.. and it is weird, it is 4 weird action scenes, swimming and holding your breath.. so I thought : Lina, she will help me! Nope she is Santa Barbara. Betsy! No, Louisiana.. and everyone else would intimidate me to much!
And Lukas has to help me to get it in to email friendly format but he didn't understand what I was talking about!

And since I was at a shoot til 4am this morning, and had to get up at eight to print my sides and charge the camera, I am now sitting here, really tired, kind of feels like I have a hangover but I didn't drink anything, and can't really figure out or wrap my head around where to start. So instead I'm sitting here thinking about all the other things I am suppose to do today.. get a hair cut, wash my car, go to The Carney show tonight, when I know I cannot leave my house until I have put a good couple of hours in to this!Drinking coffee is not helping!

Ha ha ha ha ha again I'm on set with all these crazy people, One girl,( blonde, dressed like a stripper) has these crazy glittery rainbow colored threads tied in to her hair, and she is now sitting here talking about them telling us it is the latest thing in hair fashion and soon everyone will be wearing them ha ha ha I'm dying! And the russian girl asks for her hairdressers number...!!!! She looks like a My Little Pony! I can not stop laughing! Should I tell her?

So Many Things To Tell You

I found my I-pod! Today was the day when I was gonna give up on the possibility of it finding its way back to me and go and buy a new one, but TA TA! There it was..

But I lost the Amber stone from my mom's ring again.. think it went down into the garbage disposal, or I might have lost it earlier..

I had a great weekend!We were suppose to go to this poolparty on sat that we had really been looking forward too, but i was just to tired and my body was aching to much so I went for brunch with Alia, Thats when my camera stopped working.. but now its back on again..
We were sitting there at the French Market cafe' all gloomy, trying to find something to do
Alia said, lets do something that does not include shopping..
I said, yeah lets go to Beverly Center.. and H&M on sunset..
And then I went home crying cause I found all these great things that I can not afford, or I can but I would run out of Money and I would have to go back to Sweden in a week or so..

Then I was all exhausted so I wanted to stay in, but Alia talked me into having some dinner at her place.. and then..
Lukas and Alia talked me into going out to Bardot! But it was fun, Really tired yesterday though and spent all day in bed watching old TV episodes that I've missed, like LOST and Ugly Betty, and Brothers and Sisters.

And this morning me Eva and Pedro had a really nice hike, we were all in a great mood and had lots of energy!
And now I'm moving in to Betsy's again!

It is a cloudy day today!

One is not enough

Slow

I am taking a day off. Slept in, Doing nothing, except for eating, cuddling with the puppy, reading, and buying things I cant afford online.
My housing situation kind of worked itself out, I'll move back in with Betsy on Monday and will stay there until the 30th, and then I will move back in here until Chau and Matt gets back from Sweden, that gives me almost a month.
And it will be great to get back together with Betsy for a while. I miss her! And the poor thing locked herself out the other day and when she tried to push the window open she pushed it a little bit to hard so her hand went through the glass! Apparently it looked like she had brains coming out of her hand so she had to go to the ER and get stitches, so until she is healed I will take care of her!

Drunk

It is scary. This city. it will do things to you! Or me.
Always something to do, your phone is constantly giving of some kind of noise, you are in the street, at the beach, in the mountains, in your car, and you are constantly surrounded by people, you keep yourself busy. your work, your friends, your ego. Music playing in the background, reading the news paper with the TV on, you just never have time! Stay up late, get up early, there is never enough hours in one day.

but one's in a while it will get quiet. And still. Your thoughts and emotions will surface . you will feel things. Reflect. Listen.

It is easier to just keep on going. Sometimes.

No Hiking for Pedro

Pedro gets to stay in with his grandma this morning, He is very pleased.
Yesterday when we went hiking we did the usual running up and down, and every time we start to go uphill Pedro is protesting a bit.. he'll just sit down or he'll start sniffing around pretending that it's raining but me and Eva walks on and he usually comes running full speed after, well, not yesterday, when I said Ok, lets go up again, he turned around and Ran. RAN. Me and Eva could not even catch up with him.. and I started getting really worried cause he will come every time that I call for him but no..
This time Pedro had had enough.
We met an older lady and she said he had been going by her full speed..and I started to think about having to explain this to his mom..but.. We found him!
He was sitting by my car. outside of the passenger seat where he usually gets in, back turned against me with his head tilted towards the door as if he was trying to get it to open with just sheer will power.
And he would not look at me, not even when I tried to give him some water.
So Pedro is staying in today..

I figured if I'm just gonna sit here I might as well tell you about yesterday!
We were shooting a commercial at The Pyramid in Long Beach, Nike commercial, It was suppose to be a glamorous shoot, apparently the Miami Heat audience is prettier than the rest of the audiences in America!
But, Some people does not get the difference between tacky cheap and classy glamorous, which is great cause it made it all so much more fun! We are talking bad weaves, fake nails, fake lashes, skimpy dresses, stripper shoes.. and lots and lots of attitude..
And then they get upset when asked to change??
And then right before the shoot starts they rush off to change back into whatever they thought they should be wearing to look as much as skimpy ho's as they possibly can!
I don't understand, I really don't!

I'm sitting there listening to all the complaining ( you have no idea what these people can find to complain about, they obviously never had a real job in ther entire life), it is sooo hard to get up and walk 2 meters or its to hot or to cold, hollywood sucks going out sucks staying in sucks, beach area sucks people in LA are mean, the devil apparently lives in hollywood and yadi yadi yaa....) and Im sitting there during rehearsals watching whats going on on the court, trying to block out the noise of the high pitched voices, trying to tell who's who of all the tall black basketball players, and then there he is..
The Man! Our director Rupert Sanders. one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen, dark hair, blue eyes,perfect height, great style.. beautiful smile..Brittish..just gorgeous!Funny smart talented and probably married!
It is so weird, 5 years in this city and I can probably count the good looking men Ive met on one hand, but the last couple of weeks, somethings happened, they seem to be everywhere!
I could have stayed there for hours just watching him..
Working is fun! And I think the comercial will be fantastic!
Rupert is by the way directing directing Leo's new movie Low Dweller, don't miss it!

Knacked

Im so tired today,I don't know what happened.. I got up at 7am and took the dogs for a walk, moved my car (street cleaning) fed the dogs, drank a lot of coffee, made a phone call, changed into my hiking gear and then.. i just can't get myself to put my shoes on. All of a sudden I just got so tired, and I can feel how every inch of my body is just hurting. I think I've overdone my exercising the last week, or maybe It is all the things going on in my head that are making me feel so exhausted.
So here I am, back on my chair in front of my computer with another cup of coffee, maybe I should eat something?
Good thing the weather is shit today so I can actually go hiking a little later, or maybe that is why I am so tired.
If Im not gonna hike I should at least get in the shower.. have a long list of things to do today.
hm..

Lost my Ipod, Worked all day at a Nike commercial shoot in Long Beach, Had a late dinner at Alias, got a parking ticket!

And then there are days that aren't as fun.
They are long and you are stressed and tired but have so many things to do. Those days when just getting in shower seems incomprehensible, and then its too hot to go outside but the power goes out and there is no air conditioning, you loose your handbag, you're almost getting a job, You lock yourself out, car gets a flat tire and you sat on your sunglasses.

But then these days turn into night. To Dinner and drinks. Dancing and music.
And there are Friends.

Got there at 4pm, in the middle of nowhere, boiling hot, Food guy went to Disney World in O.C instead of Disney Ranch in Santa Clarita!
That meant no water, and really dusty roads and 25 people sharing a can of coke!

Finally got in to the make up tent at 7pm or so.. sat there for 3,5 hours. They were meant to put prostetics on us, but the director thought it was too much, he wanted pretty sexy zombies! We wanted to be go all the way.. ( with the makeup).
It was the best most brilliant and funniest make up artists that I've ever come across, they were really amazing.
I sat there for so long that the band and the other girls had to wait for me to do the first photo shoot and they still had not had time to do my hair by then, so off i ran.. into the woods!

They had put up tomb stones for us to pose with.. and ofcoarse there were band members around but I think we stole the shot a bit..
Still have marks on my knees from crawling around in the woods!

Then off to a barn for the intro where , well, I dont really know what was going on cause I head my head placed under a sofa and arms and legs sticking out, just gonna trust the director that it looked great especially since my skirt was really short...

Then we learned a dance routin!

Had my hair fixed. Peggy Bundy style!
