A Smoke detector.

The neighbors in the house opposite ours moved out, since then, about a week ago, there smoke detector have been beeping, with the windows open, It really hasn't bothered, until now, the beeping is louder, and it's every 5th second now. I hope at least that means that the battery is running out..
